Joyce Shisker, 91, who has recently resided at Rainbow Senior Living, died Monday, October 6, 2014, at Peace Hospice, the result of a fall.Visitation will be at Schnider Funeral Home 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Her funeral service will be at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Joyce was born on a wheat land farm in Thunder Hawk, ND. She graduated from high school in Lemmon, SD and moved to Butte, Montana to attend Butte Business College and would meet and marry her Sweetheart, Sylvester Sal Shisker on December 2, 1945.They spent the next 40 years living in Butte, before moving to Great Falls to be closer to her daughter and family.Joyce was the housewife of all housewives. She was an active member of Gold Hill Lutheran Church in Butte and enjoyed playing bridge, pinochle and traveling in the motor home. She and Sal were always there to support her son, daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and great granddaughter in any and all endeavors. She had been active in the Great Falls Senior Citizen Center and Faith Lutheran Church.Surviving are her daughter, JoAnn Shaw of Great Falls; son Michael Mick Shisker of Hamilton; son-in-law Allen Shaw of Great Falls; granddaughter Heidi Lee of Great Falls; and great granddaughter, Alison Lee of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Dorothy Johnson Lemmon of SD and Blanche Sands of Spearfish, SD; sisters-in-Iaw Marie Daley of Lemmon, SD, Ann Marcille of Butte, and Noella Muhich of Seattle, WA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her Sal Darling ; an infant son; her parents, Hilda and Clarence Daley; as well as her brother, James Daley.Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 1601 2nd Ave N, Great Falls, MT 59401 or the charity of the donor's choice.
