Joseph “Joe Bear” Benjamin Parenteau, 20, of Great Falls, Montana, passed away on February 29, 2020, in the town of Wichita, Kansas. A memorial will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel on March 14, 2020, in Great Falls, in honor of his place here on earth. All friends and family of Joe are welcome to join in his celebration of life. His burial of ashes will be held at the plot of his resting grandfather, Jim Shelton, grandmother, Brenda Grycel, and uncle, Jimmy Shelton in Sun River, Montana. The date is still to be determined. Joseph Parenteau was born on September 4, 1999, in Great Falls to Ira Parenteau and Angie Moreno. He was the third oldest of six children. The only son of Ira Parenteau. Joe spent most of his years at the side of his father fishing, eating, growing, and playing sports. He grew to be full of life with kind eyes and a gentle heart. Joe led his life with a smile that brought endless joy to others.Joe worked at a feed lot just outside of Scott City, Kansas where he met his fiancé Sam Truly. They lived the simple life in their journey together and loved each other wholesomely. In his proceeding death, Joe was an organ donor. He was able to give one last gift of his heart and kidneys to lives in the Midwest. Joe is survived by his father; mother; sisters, Roxie Parenteau, Joyce Moreno, and Diamond Moreno; brothers, Jesse Moreno and Douglas Moreno; fiancé, Sam Truly; and the rest of his extended family.
