Joseph "Joe" Grabowski

Joseph Joe Grabowski, 92, of Great Falls, was called from this life on March 10, 2016.Joe was born on April 15, 1923 in Eastern Poland, and came to the United States following World War II. Joe married the love of his life, Anna Kudashick in 1951 and shared 59 years with her until her death in 2012.He worked for the Great Northern and Burlington Northern Railroad for over 36 years and continued to do volunteer work after he retired.Joe loved all sports, working in his garden and telling stories about his incredible life to anyone that would listen. Joe was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.His life will be remembered and cherished by his son, Michael Grabowski and daughter Donna Pleasant and her husband, Gary. A very special part of his life were his grandchildren, Ryan Grabowski, Kathryn Grabowski, and Rachel Pleasant. He was so very proud of them. His memory and love will always be a part of all our lives.The funeral service will be held at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour before the service at 1:00 p.m. Following the service, Joe will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet next to the love of his life, Anna.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Our Lady of Lourdes School, 1305 5th Ave S, Great Falls, MT 59405.
