Joseph Anthony Imbrescia, 87, of Great Falls, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Joseph was born on March 1, 1930 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to Giuseppe and Philomena Imbrescia. He graduated from Monessen High School in 1948. He entered the United States Air Force serving in the Korean and Vietnam wars and retired as a CMSgt. He received the Meritorious Service Metal, Bronze Star and the Vietnam Service Metal. Joseph married Evelyn Doreen Bens on June 12, 1954 in Limestone, Maine. Together they had five children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baking and gardening. Joseph was also the ultimate Pittsburgh sports fan. Joseph was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Parish and the Knights of Columbus. Joseph is survived by his wife Doreen; children Wayne (Tina) Imbrescia, Anita (Wayne) Hunter, Randy (Joy) Imbrescia, Brian Imbrescia, and Laurie Vosberg; 14 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parent; siblings Edith, Albert, Rose and Andrew; and grandchild Annabella. A visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. followed by a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. A funeral liturgy will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
