Jonpaul “JP” Lamey passed away on November 22, 2020.JP was born to Jon and Deborah Lamey on November 26, 1971, in Havre, Montana. JP grew up in Great Falls and attended Great Falls High School. In the early 1990s, JP moved to Missoula and spent about five years there before returning back to Great Falls. On August 25, 2000, JP married Shauna Holzheimer, and they had two beautiful girls that JP loved more than life itself, Shaylee and Morgan. JP and Shauna later divorced. JP worked for Tuttle Tile for approximately eight years before starting a partnership with Josh VonGunten called J-N-J Tile. He was a master of his trade. JP met Stacy Helman, and they were inseparable soul mates from that point on. They spent a lot of time at Pelican Point and various other beautiful Montana parks and creeks. A most memorable trip to Oregon was taken this past summer where JP and his daughter, Morgan, along with Stacy and her children visited other family members and friends. JP raved that it was the best vacation he ever had. JP was extremely proud of his oldest daughter, Shaylee, who recently graduated from high school on October 26, 2020, prior to moving to Portland. JP always wanted to be outdoors. He loved camping, fishing, and swimming, in addition to any other outdoor activity in which he participated. He loved being with his friends around the campfire. Everyone who knew JP knew he loved crazy antics. There was nothing you could dare him to do that he wasn’t already doing. JP will be remembered for his infectious smile and his robust love for life.
