Jon King

Jon Darryl King, 53, of Great Falls, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013. A private ceremony will be held by his family and close friends at a later date.Jon was born February 12, 1960 in Great Falls, Montana and raised in Nashua.After graduating from High School he went on to serve four years in the Air Force and returned to live out his life in Great Falls.Known as a true jack of all trades, there was not much he could not build or fix.Thoroughly passionate for the outdoors, he was an avid hunter and fisherman that never missed an opportunity to be with his loved ones in the mountains or on a lake.He loved spending time with family and close friends and was always willing to help anyone with anything he could.Jon is survived by his son, Steve King; granddaughter Leah King; sisters, Sheralin Carver and Hope King; brothers Alan King, Harold Higgs, George King, Brad King, and William Higgs Jr. He was preceded in death by his mother Evone J. Handley, and his father Starr G. King.
