Jolyn Margaris

Jolyn M. (Korst) Margaris, 48, of 4404 8th Avenue North, a loving mother and dedicated in-home care provider, passed peacefully of natural causes at Benefis on Monday, July 10, 2023. At her request, no services are planned. Cremation took place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.

Jolyn was born on December 12, 1974, in Great Falls to JoAnn and Sylvester Leroy Korst, and was raised and attended school in Great Falls. She was married to Chris Margaris and had two sons, Adam Margaris, and Zach Margaris, before separating. She was dedicated to the life-long service of others and enjoyed cooking and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn (Fatz) Korst, and sister, Lori Gonyea, both of Great Falls. She is survived by her father, Sylvester Leroy Korst of Great Falls; brothers Mike Korst and Duane Korst, both of Oregon, Bob Gonyea and Ron Gonyea, both of Great Falls; sisters Susanne (Gonyea) Porter, Lisa Gonyea, and Roxanne (Gonyea) Bonuelos, all of Great Falls, and Rene Korst of Oregon; sons, Adam Margaris and Zach Margaris; niece Amanda Degeorgio; and many more extended family members and life-long friends.
