John Marius Leys, 82, of Great Falls, formerly of Conrad, a Navy veteran, farmer for 32 years, crop adjuster, apartment manager and compliance specialist at Mountain View Coop died on Monday, August 20, 2012 at a local hospital due to an accidental fall.A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Conrad on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with burial of ashes to follow in Hillside Cemetery in Conrad.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Survivors include his wife, Dixie Lee Leys of Great Falls; a daughter, Sandra Bellows of Spokane, WA; sons John Jack Leys of Garden City, KS, Mark Leys of Conrad, Keith Leys of Cut Bank and Thomas Leys of Great Falls; a sister, Shirley Schoemaker of Falls Church, VA; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
