John James Friberg

John James Friberg, 83, of Great Falls, passed away at his home with family by his side on February 27, 2017.A graveside service will happen at a later date. Schnider Funeral Home handled the cremation.John James was born on November 28, 1933 in Poplar, Montana to Harry James and Elizabeth (Zike) Friberg. He was a US Army veteran. After serving in the military, John became a truck driver for United Materials in Great Falls. He retired several years ago. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to fish.He leaves behind his wife, Clara; daughters Linda (Rolland), Sandra, Nancy, and Sheila (Phil); sisters Rosie and Marjorie; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.John was preceded in death by his parents, Harry James Sr. and Elizabeth Friberg and brother Harry James Jr.In lieu flowers, donations in Johns name can be made to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St. S., Great Falls, MT 59405 or the Humane Society of Cascade County, P.O.
