John Ginnaty

A proud Irishman, John V. Ginnaty, danced his way to heaven early in the morning of July 2, 2014.For 56 years John was married to the love of his life, Eleanor. They were blessed with 8 children, sons, Dan (Carolyn), Ron , Joe (Shannan), and Sean (Rayn) Ginnaty; daughters, Julie (Wes) Dess, Crystal (Bill) Dess, Susan (Ric) Santos, and Ann (Dave) Clewley; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren into the 5th generation. He is also survived by his brothers, Patrick (Marcie), Larry (Judy) and Jeri (Mary) and many nieces and nephews. John loved his family and welcomed many others as family.John devoted much of his time to Habitat for Humanity, over 50 years with Boy Scouts, over 35 years as foster parents, Knights of Columbus and Hibernians, and 40 years as a much loved Santa.We love you Dad and will miss you so much.A visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. A funeral liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Michael Schneider presiding. A graveside service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on July 7, 2014 at Sun River Cemetery.
