John Doan

John Paul Doan, 76, of Great Falls, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 from natural causes at Benefis Healthcare.A memorial service will be held Friday, August 30, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church. Schnider Funeral is handling the arrangements.John was born on June 23, 1937 to Paul and Elizabeth Betty Doan in Toledo, Ohio. He was raised in St. Charles, MI and graduated from St. Charles High School. He married Nancy Loeblin in 1958. They divorced in 2002.He spent 20 years in the Air Force and worked as an airplane mechanic. He then worked as a security guard at the Paloverde Nuclear Power Plant in Arizona. John moved to Great Falls in 2003. He worked part-time at Lithia Honda. He especially enjoyed the people he worked with there. He will be missed.John was a people person, he liked visiting with people. He also liked new car, NASCAR, animals, music (especially live concerts), and traveling. He is survived by his brother, James K. (Pam) Doan; sister-in-law Maribeth Doan; nephews James K. (Margaret) Doan II and John A. Doan; and nieces, Angela Hirsch, Jamie Doan, and Jonna (Jeff) Brandt.John was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Alan M.
