Joanne Marie Cox, 79, Great Falls, passed away October 6, 2018 in Great Falls. Visitation will be held on Friday October 12, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel with a vigil service to follow at Hillcrest beginning at 6:00 p.m.Funeral liturgy will be held on Saturday October 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with entombment to follow at Hillcrest Mausoleum.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Joanne was born 1939 in Butte, Montana to Raymond and Helen Joseph.She was raised in Butte and graduated from Butte High School.Joanne was united in marriage to Robert Cox and together they raised their two children. She held many different jobs over the years.Joanne worked for the school for many years as a crossing guard and as a lunch lady.She also worked at Dairy Queen. Her life’s work was her boys and her grandchildren. Joanne enjoyed being at family events, crocheting, playing on her iPad, and loved to cook for family and friends especially during the holidays. Joanne is survived by her sons, Robert “Bob” Michael (Heidi Propp), Cox andJoseph “Joe” Charles (Stacy) Cox; brothers Raymond “Ray” Joseph (Peggy), Mickey “Mick” Joseph (Ann); sister Patsy Narancich, grandchildren, Jacob (Tara) Cox, Brian Cox, Kevin Cox, Kayla (Casey) Dee, Connor Cox and Fiance Danielle Gano, and Calvin Cox; great-grandchildren, Cameron Cox, Avery Cox, Alivia Cox, Cayson Cox, Azlyn Cox, Kenasyn Dee, Cain Michael Cox, Aria Cox; as well as many nieces and nephews.
