Joan Marie Schutt

Joan Schutt Anderson passed away at the age of 86, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Peace Hospice in Great Falls, Montana. Per her request no services will be held. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schnider Funeral Home. Joan was born in Wahpeton, North Dakota to Gottfried and Jennie Anderson on May 6, 1932. She attended North Dakota School of Mines. Joan married Byron Schutt in 1952 and moved to Great Falls in 1959 and later they divorced. Joan worked for Columbus and Benefis hospitals for almost 40 years. She enjoyed making baskets and rag, rugs among other crafts. She is survived by her son Terry (Joyce) Schutt of Kalispell; Mark Schutt of Great Falls; Michael Schutt of Sheridan, Wyoming; brother Keith Anderson of Bakersfield, California; son in-law Mike Hopkinson of Bozeman. She is preceded in death by her parents; son Keith Schutt; daughter Sally Hopkinson; granddaughter Brandy Collins; and sisters Janice, Betty Iris and Ollie.
