Joan Rae Bell

Joan Rae Bell passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 24, 2022, at the age of 74. Joan was the youngest of seven children of Art and Ann Jacques. She graduated from Central Catholic High School and married Wally Bell in Great Falls, MT.They had two children and later divorced.Joan later had another son with her longtime partner, Carl Buckley. Survivors are her daughter, Amy Bell (Jon Busby) of Livingston; son, Crockett Burrows of Chester; sisters, Jeanne Kelley Pugh of Great Falls and Lynne Krauter of Kent, WA; brother, Russell Jacques of Great Falls; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; twin brother, James Jacques; brother, LeRoy Jacques; sister, Donna Roll; and Baby Boy Bell who died at birth. Joan liked to read, bake, and knit. She deeply loved her children and will be missed and remembered for her kindness, generosity, and fierce independence. She loved to laugh and have fun. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the cremation.A private family memorial is being planned.
