Jimmie Bruce Shigley

Surrounded by his loving family, Jimmie Bruce Shigley went to meet the Lord at the age of 72 on June 7, 2019. Jimmie was born February 1, 1947,in Oakland, California to Donald and Francis Shigley. He lived his life in Great Falls, Montana. He worked for many years on the road as a salesman for various tire companies and finished the last 10 years of his career working for the Cascade County Sheriff’s Department. When not working, he enjoyed going to hot rod and classic car shows in his black 1964 Pontiac. His other passion was his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed going to the mountains and the lakes whenever possible. Jimmie is survived by his wife, Jeanne, of 52 years; his children, Toby (Wendy) Shigley of Windsor, CO, Todd (Kim) Shigley of Great Falls, MT, Mandi (Jeff) Andersch of Helena, MT; his grandchildren, Wyatt (Andrew) Shigley of San Francisco, CA, Bridger Shigley of Windsor, CO, Jessi (Jacob) Beirwagen of Helena, MT, Caleb (Brooke) Shigley of Great Falls, MT, Jake and Jaden Andersch; and his great grandson, Mason Beirwagen all of Helena, MT. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Cordle of Kalispell, MT and his brother, Scott Shigley of Great Falls, MT. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Vickie. A Celebration of Life will be held at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. with a reception at Schnider Funeral Home to follow.
