Jimianne Wilson went to be with her Lord on March 8, 2025, at Benefis Peace Hospice in Great Falls, Montana.
She was born on January 9, 1939, to James and Vivian Evans in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She grew up in Oklahoma City and in Long Beach, California and graduated from Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma City in 1956. While in high school, she was president of the Knobberettes Pep Squad. As a young woman, she moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1964 while working for National Cash Register as a trainer. After her move to Alaska, she met Charles R. Wilson and the two married in 1965. The Air Force moved them to Aurora, Colorado; Ogden, Utah; Friendswood, Texas; and the island of Guam before moving them to Great Falls, Montana. Jimianne always took great pride in setting up a new home for her family in every new post. She loved decorating, cooking and baking, sewing, and watching old movies. She was a very talented seamstress and upholsterer, and her creativity spanned many interests. She deeply loved and was loved by her husband, Charlie, with whom she celebrated 60 years of marriage on February 19, as well as her children and grandchildren. She will be very missed.
She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Wilson of Great Falls, Montana; daughters, Leslie (Boone) Nicholson of Portland, Oregon, and Charlotte (Christopher) Graham of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Joan, Alexandra, and Carys; sister, Nadene (Bob) Vesta of Shawnee, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Carolyn (Bill) Smith of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vivian Evans and son, Stuart Clark Wilson.
No memorial is planned at this time; however, a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
Special thanks to Schuana and Nikki and the rest of the staff of Courtesy Home Care for their loving care of Jimianne during her final year of life. Also thank you to the many friends and neighbors who reached out with support and encouragement of Jimianne during her last years.
