Jesse Dean Voss, 43, of Great Falls, passed away on March 12, 2014 while working on his vehicle.A vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with inurnment to follow at Holy Spirit Catholic Church Columbarium. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Jesse was born December 2, 1970 to Harold Corky and Connie (Ennen) Voss in Lewistown, Montana. He married Lisa Marie Olson on July 15, 1995 at St. Lukes Parish in Great Falls. Jesse grew up on his parents dairy farm in Rapid City, South Dakota until the age of 12. They moved to Lewistown where he graduated with honors from Fergus High School in 1989. He spent a lot of his weekends hiking the Judith Mountains with his friends all through high school. He then joined the United States Army where he was stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia as a mechanic. Jesse proudly spent 1990-91 of his Army career in the Desert Storm War in Saudi Arabia. After the service, he attended Northern College in Havre where he excelled in Diesel Technology. After his graduation in 1995, he was hired by Tractor and Equipment CASE IH in Billings until 2001. Jesse and Lisa then moved to Great Falls and where he worked for the Cascade County Shop as a mechanic and Lead Man. Over the last few months, Jesse also worked in the flooring department at Home Depot. He was a hard worker who took great pride in always doing quality work.Jesse created many beautiful wood intarsias and was also a talented artist. He enjoyed stock car races and fixing up his 56 Ford pickup. His other interests were playing pool, dancing, singing Karaoke, playing guitar and bass, and he especially enjoyed listening to his wife and daughters play piano and sing. Many heartfelt and emotional moments were spent listening to Jordyn play her violin and Janae playing her cello at home, school and with the Youth Symphony and Symphonia. All who met Jesse, saw him as a talented, gentle and friendly man.He was a member of the Big Sky Cum Christo and The Knights of Columbus where he was a Third Degree Knight.Jesse is survived by his wife, Lisa (Olson); children Justin, Jordyn, Janae and Jan Radermacher; sister Kelly Davis; brother Loren (Lois) Voss; parents Harold Corky and Connie (Ennen) Voss; grandparents Harold and Irene Voss; Grandma Ennen; nieces and nephews, Erik, Megan, Michael, Morgan Dylan, Jaxon, and Hayden.He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Garland Ennen; uncle Ray Voss; and aunt Jackie Voss.In honor of Jesse's daughters, the family requests donations to the Great Falls Youth Symphony and Symphonia, 11 3rd St. N., Great Falls, MT 59401.
