Jesse grew up in the Neelyville area and also attended school there. Jesse began farming in Neelyville and after marrying the love of his life, Lorene Mitchener in 1940, they both continued to farm in the area until 1952, when they moved to Poplar Bluff, MO. In 1955, Jesse and Lorene moved their family to West Yellowstone, MT and Jesse worked at Fuller's Garage for the next 40 years. Jesse had a very kind heart and was always looking out for those who needed help. It was not uncommon for Jesse to bring someone home to dinner whether it be someone traveling through, a salesman or a neighbor. It didn't matter the reason, if they needed help, Jesse made sure they had a meal first. In 1997, Jesse and Lorene retired and moved to Great Falls, MT. Family was a very important part of Jesse's life. He and Lorene often traveled to visit relatives and see parts of the country they hadn't seen before. Jesse always wanted his family nearby to visit as often as possible. As family would get ready to head back home, Jesse was always asking when they'd be coming back. Jesse is survived by his wife of 72 years, Lorene, of Great Falls, MT; daughter, Patricia Timfichuk (Johnnie), of Stevensville, MT; daughter, Carol Sullivan of Great Falls, MT; son, George (Shari), of Great Falls, MT; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
