Jerome "Jerry" Grosenick

February 25, 1949 — March 12, 2018

Jerome “Jerry” W. Grosenick went home to the Lord on March 12, 2018 in Great Falls Montana. He was born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin on February 25, 1949 to Hertha nee Giese and Walter Grosenick.He was raised on a farm in Mayville, Wisconsin and graduated from Mayville High School in 1967. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Airforce where he earned the nickname Goose and was stationed in Minot, North Dakota.He was home on leave when he met the love of his life Pamela nee Krueger on July 4, 1970 and they were married in Theresa, Wisconsin December 19th that same year. He transferred to the Montana Air National Guard in 1972 where he worked in Avionics and retired in 2004 as a Master Sergeant, fulfilling a 36-year military career. He was very athletic and loved to run, participating in many marathons, culminating in the 1992 Boston Marathon.His passion was the outdoors spending much of his time hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends. He especially shared this passion with his son Brian. He loved sports of all kinds, supporting his Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Braves/Brewers, and grandchildren.Anyone could talk sports with Jerry and get a lively conversation, especially his mother-in-law Dorothy Krueger and son Greg. He had a fondness for classic cars and restored 2 ’57 Chevs and a 1970 Chevy Nova. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he served as a trustee and an elder. He is survived by his wife Pamela Grosenick, sons Greg (Tami) Grosenick and Brian (Julie) Grosenick and grandchildren Gavin, Isabelle, Landon, and Tyler all of Great Falls; sisters Jane Conniff and Joanne Spiker of CO; Janet (Dennis) Hussli of WI; in-laws Dorothy Krueger, Paul (Donna) Krueger, Dawn Krueger, Dale (Connie) Krueger, and Dan (Diane) Krueger all of WI and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents Walter and Hertha Grosenick; step mother Evelyn Grosenick. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1226 1st Ave N, Great Falls, MT.
