Janet A. Lehman

Janet A. (Wendland) Lehman passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the age of 96 in Great Falls of natural causes.A vigil service will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. The funeral liturgy will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., both at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Janet was born to Andrew and Margaret Wendland in Rudyard, March 30, 1920. She was raised and attended school in Rudyard.She married Richard F. Lehman of Highwood, July 13, 1946.Janet was a member of St. Jane Francis Church, the Altar Society, and the Highwood Senior Citizens. She was an avid gardener and baker.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Harlan and Phillip; and two sisters, Marieann and Dorothy.She is survived by her daughter, Mary Sanders of Great Falls; granddaughter Carla Sanders of Tacoma, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Highwood School Scholarship Fund and/or the Highwood Senior Center or a charity of your choice.
