James Bevan JB Walker, 50, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at his home in Floweree.A celebration of his 50 years of life will be held, Monday, September 28, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at the Montana Agricultural Center, 1900 River St., Fort Benton, Montana.JB was born in Great Falls, MT on April 8, 1965 to Hal Sonny and Diane Walker. He was raised on a farm/ranch in Floweree, MT. He attended K-12 schools in Carter and Fort Benton, where he was active in football and wrestling. He went on to Northern Montana College in Havre. His education was interrupted by the death of his father. JB then returned to help on the family farm. He especially loved cattle and the ranch on the Teton River, where he has requested that his ashes be spread.JB was a talented welder. He worked on the Carter/Choteau County water system for many years. He was an officer in the Lower Teton Water Users. He enjoyed bowling and darts and was a devoted follower of the Ft. Benton football teams and his sons and grandsons sports. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers!JB is survived by his mother, Diane and his brother, Bruce both of Floweree; his brother-in-law, Steve Hamel of Canyon Creek; nephews Will and Michael Hamel; his ex-wife, Shannon of Ft. Benton; three step-children, Misti (Coleman) Axtman, Mike (Ashley) Nault, and Andrew (Amanda) Moss; four step-grandchildren; his aunts, Kay (Dick) Luoma and Kathleen Wiley; cousins and numerous friends.He was preceded in death by his father, Hal Sonny Walker; his sisters, Jane Marie Walker and Richie Lee Walker Hamel; and his grandparents Alma and Harold Walker, Mame and Verle Johnson.Memorial contributions can be made to the Carter Volunteer Fire Department: 224 Mountain View Rd, Carter, MT, 59420.
