James V Clark, 74, of Great Falls, owner and operator of Jim Clark Trucking and US Army veteran, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 of natural causes at a local care facility.A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Westside VFW. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.James was born on June 10, 1938 in Ronan, Montana to James and Violet (Bicha) Clark. He was raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho where he graduated from high school. He enlisted in the army in 1956, was stationed in Korea, and was honorably discharged in 1962. He founded Jim Clark Trucking shortly afterwards being both the owner and operator he made numerous runs from California to Alberta, Canada.He enjoyed motorcycle racing, motorcycles, old cars, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his friends.James is survived by a son, Gary Jim Clark of Great Falls; grandchildren Tara, Jennifer, Michael, and Christopher; and great grandchildren Trey, Daeli, Addysin, and Mackenzye.Memorials are suggested by the family to Montana Supporting Soldiers, PO Box 4964, Helena, MT59604.Condolences for the family may be left at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
