On October 21, 2022, the Lord gained another angel. James Alan Bryant was born on January 28, 1958, to Dorothy Ann Martin and Eugene Donald Bryant in Great Falls, Montana.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie Ann Bryant; children, James, Jacob, and Jessica Bryant; two sisters; seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was hardworking and a loving husband and father. Jim made many friends but was loved by even more in his short sixty-four years of life. He worked for several years in the food and beverage industry, mostly management. He loved the life he lived and loved to make people laugh. His spirit was like no other. He was one of the few lucky people that helped build the baseball field. He organized and coached the Babe Ruth baseball team that both of his sons played on. Jim was a generous man, whether it was volunteering at the Ursuline Mother’s Day breakfasts, herding on cattle drives, or organizing Tuffy’s annual Biker Bash. He is missed and loved.
A celebration of life will be held on November 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Tuffy’s Sunset Inn (48 Sun Prairie Rd). Condolences for the family may be shared online at
