Jacqueline "Jacque" Renee Torman

Jacqueline “Jacque” Renee Torman, 64, of Black Eagle, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019. A memorial service will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Jacque was born on October 20, 1954 in Mountain Lake Minnesota to Harold and Joyce (Eng) Carlson. The family moved to Lewistown, Montana from Osseo, Minnesota in 1969. Her junior year she was the Homecoming Queen at Fergus High School. She was the Homecoming Queen for Cascade High School her senior year, graduating in 1973 from Cascade. From 1973 to 1974 Jacque worked at the Village Inn. She then went to work at the Longhorn Lounge in 1974 before becoming the Owner and Operator in 1979 until her retirement in 2000. She married Jim Turnbow in 1973 and they later divorced. She married Lyle Kercher in 1975 and had her son Jason. They later divorced. In 1983, she married John Torman and they later divorced. She lived with Terry Guckeen from 2004 until his passing in 2018. Family was very important to her starting with her son’s birth in 1975. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Her grandson, Ryan was born in 1994 followed by her granddaughter, Zoey in 2004. When Terry came into her life she was blessed with three additional grandchildren to call her own. Jacque loved traveling and visiting family every chance she got. She loved hosting large family gatherings over the years and always put everyone’s needs ahead of her own. She was always cooking for someone, especially birthdays. She never missed a birthday and always baked a cake for them. She had a deep love for all of her family and grandkids, nieces, and nephews were always excited to visit her. They looked forward to whatever she whipped up in the kitchen when they came to visit. Her cooking was something everyone was excited for. She loved to go bowling and hang out with her many friends. She is survived by her son, Jason (Stacey) Kercher; brothers Steve, Dan, and Gregg Carlson; stepsons, Bryan and Brandon Guckeen, grandchildren Zoey, Ryan, Maddysun, Alex, and Savannah; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other close family and friends. Jacque was preceded in death by her husband, Terry; parents Harold and Joyce; and sisters-in-law Mary Carlson and Glenda Carlson.
