Jacob Floyd Romanchuk, 14, who was named after both of his grandfathers, passed away in the early morning hours of April 5, 2013, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.His funeral will be held in the Centerville School gymnasium on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery.A reception will take place at the Sand Coulee Fire Hall immediately following the burial. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Jacob was born on October 13, 1998, in Great Falls, Montana, the son of Kevin and Kim Romanchuk.He lived in Sand Coulee and attended Centerville School where he was in the 8th grade.He was an A student who participated in numerous extra-curricular activities.He played the drums and the trombone in the Centerville Pep Band.Jacob was a talented athlete who lived to play sports.His favorite sport was football, but he also played basketball and joined the track team every year.Jacob was eagerly looking forward to starting high school and talked so anxiously about getting his drivers license almost every day.Jacob was a member of The Holy Trinity Parish where he was baptized and confirmed and he served on the altar since he was in the 3rd grade.Jacob was FULL of life and had the most amazing sense of humor.He was a kind, entertaining, young man who brought many joys and much laughter to every life he touched.He had the most upbeat, inspirational personality, always happy, and could make anybody smile with his own amazing, infectious, ear to ear grin.Jacob was a friend to all without prejudice.He was a born leader!Jacob had so many special interests.Some of his favorites included his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, camping and just about anything that had to do with the great outdoors.Jacob was also a great swimmer and loved to be in the water.He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and cheered equally as loud for the Centerville Miners and the Montana Grizzlies.Jacob was just an amazing boy who put tremendous heart into everyday living.His family and friends were so important to him and he showed it with love and devotion.Jacob was especially close to his parents and his 16-year-old sister, Jordan Romanchuk.Other survivors include grandmother Linda Harding of Great Falls; grandfather Terry (Diann) Boley of Kent, WA; Aunt Diane Boley of Great Falls; Uncle David and Aunt Sharon Skinner of Havre; Uncle Jason (Tiffany) Harding of Great Falls, Uncle Greg Romanchuk and Aunt Cindy (Eddie) Ingman, all of Sand Coulee; Uncle Brad (Colleen) Romanchuk, Aunt Connie (Chris McWilliams) Romanchuk, and Aunt Jackie (Jamie) Clough, all of Great Falls; Aunt Allison and Uncle Ryan Crase and Aunt Judy and Uncle Vincent Burke, all of Kent, WA; and Aunt Bobi Baker of Great Falls.Jacob came from a close family and will also be dearly missed by many cousins:Mandy, Heather and Erik Ingman; Athena Holloway; Kalvin, James, Anna, and Karin Romanchuk and Jaden Clough.The friends who will miss Jacob are countless, but among his most special are best friends Marty Luoma, Kade Landon and Delaney Gilbert.Jacob was preceded in death by grandparents, Jake and Alice Romanchuk and Bruce Harding; great-grandparents, Bobbie and Duane Boley and Woody and Louise Skinner; great-grandmother, G.G.
