Herbert E. Thomas, 81, of Great Falls, a retired Air Force Tech Sgt., died on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at his residence of end stage renal failure/lung cancer.A memorial service will held at Highland Baptist Church on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.Schnider Funeral Home will be handling arrangements.He is survived by his wife Lorene Thomas of Great Falls; son Terry Eugene Thomas of Great Falls; daughters Doris LaVaque of Gresham, OR, Catherine Ekness of Helena, MT and Cynthia Even of Phoenix, AZ; brother Cecil Gilmore of St. Louis, MO; sister Rosemary Arvik of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
