Heather Alynn Haagenson, 26, of Great Falls, a special soul, died of debilitation Saturday, November 24, 2012 at a local care facility, surrounded by family.A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Northwest Family Fellowship.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Heather was born on April 5, 1986 in Great Falls. She attended school at Loy Elementary School, Skyline School, East Middle School, and Great Falls High School.She touched the lives so many people. She was a Charter member of the Montana Blind and Low Vision Council. She enjoyed people, music, having her fingernails painted, and going for walks.Heather is survived by her parents, Jim and Trish Haagenson of Great Falls; Tracy and Kelly Holbrook of Power, MT; sisters Nicole Shaffer of Alaska, Natasha Davis of Las Vegas, NV, Tracie Thompson of Helena, MT, Caitlyn Holbrook of Power, MT, Kellcy Henry of Honolulu, HI,and Mariah Holbrook of Great Falls; brothers Willis Haagenson of Bozeman, Cody Haagenson of Butte, MT, Joshua Haagenson of Great Falls, and Kyler Holbrook of Power, MT; grandparents Ben and Janet Haagenson of Parker, AZ; grandmother Barbara Holbrook of Great Falls; and great grandfather Willis Haagenson of Great Falls; six nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.She was preceded in death by her grandparents Norma Jean Regan-Giese, Jim Regan, Harold Giese, and Darlene Amende.In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Special Olympics Montana, 3117 5th Ave N, Great Falls, MT 59401.
