Hazel Goodau

Hazel Goodau, 89, of Great Falls, passed away on July 8, 2014 at Peace Hospice.A celebration of life luncheon will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Schnider Funeral Home hospitality room. A private inurnment will take place at Manchester Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Hazel was born on October 3, 1924 in Great Falls, Montana to Robert and Virgie Green, the last of 9 children. She worked at the Paris department store for 26 years and the Style Shop. She then had her own lingerie shop for 9 years called, Hazels. Hazel married Edward Goodau on July 8, 1945 at the Presbyterian Church in Great Falls.She would like to be remembered as being fun, happy, and a good bingo player. Some of her best times were spent at Holter Lake where she had a cabin for 29 years.Hazel is survived by her grandson, Brian (Amy) Wheeler; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Shelbie and Dava; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edward Goodau; son Robert R. Goodau; and all her brothers and sisters.
