Hardy Fritz Jr.

Hardy A. Fritz, 87, of Great Falls, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017.A private family memorial will be held at a later date.Hardy was born on June 7, 1930 in Crosby, ND to Hardy Sr. and Myra Fritz. Hardy married Betty Brundage of Anaconda and she later passed away. He worked for Great Northern Railroad and BNSF Railroad and also operated the Kings Hill Grocery.He was a caller and teacher of square dancing at the M-Squares Dance Club and a member of the Elks Club. Hardy enjoyed model trains, RC Cars and Planes, ATVs, snowmobiling, and woodworking. He was also an antique tractor owner and showman.Hardy is survived by his daughters, Nancy (Bill) Wilson of Billings and Lynn Bailey of Havre; special daughter-in-law, Janet Fritz-Delisle of Great Falls; sons Bob Fritz and Rick (Lenny) Fritz, both of Great Falls and Allen Fritz of Wichita, KS; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Betty.The family would like to extend a special thank you to his friends at Eagles Manor and to Dr. Soldyshev of Great Falls and Dr. Wagman of Havre for taking such great care of our dad.His humor, wit and skills will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
