Gwendolyn "Gwen" Wiederrich

Gwendolyn Gwen May Wiederrich, 86, quietly passed away on February 9, 2016 at a local care facility.Private family services will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Gwen was born October 6, 1929 to Fred and Lela Littlefield in Big Sandy, Montana. She graduated from high school in 1949 and attended Northern Montana College in Havre. On February 2, 1952 she married Howard Wiederrich and became instant mother to his three daughters. The family lived in Great Falls until 1959, when they moved to Lodi, California, returning to Montana two years later to open their auto parts business in Big Sandy. They later retired to the home they built south of Cascade.Gwen was preceded in death by her parents; 6 siblings; her husband, Howard and a grandson Marcus Mason.She is survived by her daughters, Darlene Ward of Woodbridge, CA, Sheryl (Steve) Mason of Lodi, CA and Sharon (Daryle) Odden of Great Falls; grandchildren Jack Hall of Lockeford, CA, Stanley Hall of Lodi, CA, Bradley Mason of Stockton, CA, Heidi Gonsalves of Oakley, CA, Vinnie Mason of Raleigh, NC, Bryant Mason of Charlottesville, VA, Jennifer Williams of Great Falls, Robyn Kelly of Eugene, OR, Darren Odden of Santa Cruz, CA and Marty Odden of Hayward, CA; 42 great grandchildren and 12 great, great grandchildren.She will be greatly missed by her family and by special friends, Phyllis and Ed Taylor of Great Falls.Memorials may be given to the charity of the donors choice.
