Gregory Moe

Gregory W. Moe, 58, of Great Falls, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013.A funeral liturgy will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Greg was born on February 2, 1955 in Fort Ord, California. He was raised in Great Falls and attended CMR High School and Bozeman.He lived in Reno, Nevada for 15 years where he owned and operated Mountain Sports Ski Shop. Upon his return to Great Falls he joined his mother and sister in the operation of Anderson Elerding Travel. After the sale of Anderson Elerding, he pursued a career in senior living which included administrative positions in Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and Montana. He managed Cambridge Court in Great Falls for several years. He was also an Account Executive for Beartooth CNBC.Greg was involved with the Downtown Great Falls Association Alive@ Five, Great Falls Advertising Association, and the Chamber of Commerce.He was an outdoor enthusiast, whether it was skiing, skateboarding, hang gliding, roller blading, wind surfing, or camping and fishing; he always did everything to the extreme. He had a great love of the Mighty Mo, spending many sunny days with friends taking in all the Missouri River had to offer.Greg is survived by his son, Jake Moe; mother, Barb Moe Axtell (Howard); father, Don Moe; sister, Kris (Ted) Holmlund; nephews Travis (Wendie) Holmlund and Teddy Holmlund; niece Kassie (Doug) Longfellow; uncle and aunts, Rich and Judy Souders and Artha Lee Deras;girlfriend Elaine Hartman; and his beloved dog KD.He was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Moe.Donations can be made to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St S, Great Falls, MT59405; Animal Foundation of Great Falls, PO Box 3426, Great Falls, MT 59403; or the charity of your choice.
