Greg Redding

Greg Scott Redding, 58, of Great Falls, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015.A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Greg was born on April 19, 1957 in Great Falls, Montana to Ronald Vincent and Virginia Louise (Spencer) Redding. He graduated from CM Russell High School in 1975 and started working for his step-father in the trucking business. Trucking became his career and he worked for Old Dominion for many years. Greg married Theresa Winney in 1989 at Victory Christian Center and became a father to Heather and Jenny. This union created his three greatest gifts, his daughters, Jessica, Reilee and Amanda.He loved movies and Nascar. Greg enjoyed a big bowl of chili and falling asleep during the race to wake up and inquire as to who had won. To his daughters, he was known affectionately as Superman. He loved to laugh and to make people laugh. Greg was a gentle giant, always looking forward to tomorrow because he got better looking every day.Greg is survived by his daughters, Jessica Redding of Great Falls, Reilee (Alec) Perigen of Kansas, and Amanda Redding of Great Falls; step-daughters Jennifer (Kris) Moen and Heather Winney of Great Falls; sisters Ronelle (Steve) Tibbits of Vancouver, WA, Amy Redding, Pamela Redding, Denise Lohof, Rowena (Darrell) Blatter and Sara (John) Thody all of Great Falls; grandchildren Amelia and Krissie Winney and Lilly Moen all of Great Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Redding and Virginia Lohof; and step-father William Lohof.
