Mrs. Gloria Leith Stordahl died at her home after a lengthy battle with a pulmonary illness on Monday, December 1, 2014 in Great Falls, MT at the age of 68.The youngest of three children, Gloria was born on May 5, 1946 in Powell, WY to Harold and Edith Johnson. She graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1964. Later that year on October 9, she married James Douglas Stordahl, her high school sweetheart and the love of her life. Jim was enlisted in the United States Air Force and over the next 21 years, Gloria and Jim traveled around the country and the world. After Jim retired they settled back in Montana where they remained together, in love. Over their 50 years of marriage the couple brought two children into their lives. Her children remember her for her abundant patience and endless kindness. Her family was everything to her and there was nothing she would not do to bring happiness and love to them. She was generous and dedicated to her family and friends and was amazingly gifted at creating warmth and richness to every home she touched and blessed.Gloria grew up loving the outdoors and later she and Jim had countless camping expeditions with their children and then later with their pups.
