He enjoyed many years of golf with his wife and friends. He was grateful for the lifelong love of his wife Shirley and the privilege of living in the Big Sky. He was thankful to have been born an American and grateful for the veterans who sacrificed so much and fought for his freedom. His biggest life disappointment was the failure of our self-serving politicians to come together to solve America's problems. “How do I sum up my life, extremely lucky and grateful.” George is survived by the love of his life for 39 years, his wife, Shirley “Flower;” brother Mitch of Santa Barbara, CA; and sister Susan Speer of Bell Canyon, CA.
