George Bernard Heisler

George Bernard Heisler, 51, passed away on January 4, 2021, in Great Falls, MT. He was born to Cathy and Ray Heisler on April 27, 1970, also in Great Falls, MT. George graduated from Great Falls High in 1988 and went on to join the Navy. Afterward, he had a 20-year career as a letter carrier for USPS and was an active member of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NACL). George loved to work with his hands. He was often found tinkering with many different projects. When he wasn’t working on a new project, George loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowboarding, camping, and even archery. He was also known to love a good concert. George is survived by his significant other, Mary Rasmussen of Great Falls, MT; daughter, Renae Heisler of Billings, MT; parents, Cathy and Ray Heisler of Great Falls, MT; sister, Theresa (Jose) Rosado of Danbury, CT; brothers, Tim (Shannon) Heisler of Great Falls, MT, and Allen Heisler of Great Falls, MT; niece, Nicole Heisler; and nephews, Elyjah Rosado, and Jacob Rosado. A memorial service for George will be held at 2:30 p.m. January 11, 2022, at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel.
