Gary Dennis Mclaughlin

Gary Dennis Mclaughlin, 66, of Great Falls, a retired casino manager, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at his home. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home. Gary was born February 24, 1952 to John and Isabelle (Morano) Mclaughlin in Choteau, Montana.He graduated from Choteau High School in 1971 and in 1972 he enlisted into the United States Army and proudly served his county for twelve years. On January 12, 1977 he was united in marriage to Kathryn Cantell in Great Falls. They had four sons; John, Monty, Michael, and Loyal. Gary was truly a “jack of all trades”.He enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting baseball cards, and Nascar.He loved his grandchildren and his sons and they truly were his life.He was a very caring and loving man who would make anyone around him feel loved. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathryn; sons, John McLaughlin, Monty McLaughlin, Michael McLaughlin, and Loyal McLaughlin all of Great Falls; sisters, Mary Larson of Great Falls, Jean Ann McLaughlin and Jane McLaughlin both of California; brothers Dale McLoughlin and Hugh McLaughlin both of Great Falls; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
