Gary Brandt

Gary Brandt, 68, of Ulm, a retired District Engineer Officer for the Department of Transportation, died of natural causes on Thursday, May 2, 2013 in Great Falls.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel.Private burial of ashes will take place at a later date. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Gary was born on May 15, 1944 in Bagley, Minnesota to Glenn and Olive (Clemenson) Brandt.He worked for the Montana Department of Transportation for 45 years.He enjoyed fishing, hunting and carpentry.Gary loved spending time with his family and visiting with friends.Gary is survived by his wife, Susan Brandt of Ulm; daughter Amber Brandt of Great Falls; sons Thane (Kathy) Brandt of Helena and Shale Brandt of Great Falls; sister Vicki (Bill) Fitzgerald of Helena; and three grandchildren, Zachary, Connor and Ryan.He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Olive Brandt; and grandson Matthew Brandt.
