Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Fred was born in Great Falls, Montana on a beautiful hot spring day, June 15, 1959. Fred lived his life on the family ranch on Eden Road, Great Falls.Fred loved to dance to country music, sing and play the guitar. He had a keen eye for finding arrowheads and special rocks of interest on the ranch. He loved classic cars and spent hours fixing, washing, and waxing them. Any mechanical concerns with equipment kept him intrigued and were a puzzle he would conquer. He was willing to help any neighbor, friend, or relative with anything. One of his proudest accomplishments was restoring a homestead cabin on the family ranch. He would share in detail the cabins history with friends and family.Freds walls in his home were lined with family photos. He had a very special bond with his nephews Mitch and CJ. Family was everything to Fred. He loved animals, especially his dog Buddy, who was his best friend. One of the most special things about Fred was that he loved to talk to people, and no matter whom you were or what he was doing, he always had time to visit.Fred graduated high school from Centerville. He was very proud to be the fourth generation owner of the family ranch. It was on his ranch, surrounded by Gods beauty that he so loved, that we lost him. Fred will be remembered by many for his kindness and willingness to help anyone he met, especially his friends.Fred was the son of Vera and the late Don Pilgeram. He sadly leaves behind two sisters; Carla (Larry) Blanchard of Great Falls and Carmen (Greg) Bohn of Billings; nephews Cody (Tami) Blanchard, Chris (Britt) Blanchard, Cade (Tricia) Blanchard, Cord (Kayla) Blanchard, Mitch and CJ Bohn, and sweet sweet Buddy.Memorials may be sent to Eden Livestock 4-H Club, 32 South Eden Road, Great Falls, Montana 59405.Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
