Franklin Jacobson

Franklin A. Bud Jacobson, 84, of Great Falls, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015.Bud was born April 6, 1931 in Neihart, Montana and was raised there, graduating from Neihart High School in 1949. He served in the Navy from 19511954 and was honorably discharged. He returned to Montana and married Beverly Anderson in 1956, they later divorced.He worked for the Anaconda Co. for 26 years and retired from the Great Falls School District.He is survived by his three children, Melody Martin of Sonora, CA, Steven Jacobson of Great Falls and Nancy Jacobson (Merle Frank) of Billings; six grandchildren, Stevie (Jeff) Spillers of Tucson, AZ, Klanci (Evan) Gauthier of Chicago, IL, Maxx Jacobson of Billings, Alyssa Mayhew of Las Vegas, NV, Callie Jacobson of Missoula and Josie Jacobson of Missoula; three great grandchildren; two sisters, June (Lloyd) Larson of Crawfordville, FL and Alice Collins of Billings.He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Alettie Jacobson; and brother Donald.A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at The Frontier Bar, 3317 Vaughn Rd.
