Frances "Fran" Eleanor Broiher

July 8, 1941 — May 4, 2019

Frances Broiher, age 77 passed away after a short illness at her home on May 4th. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, she moved to Montana in 1962. She worked for many years at MAFB as a Medical Records Clerk until she retired. She loved to travel, loved Montana, visiting with friends, was a huge hockey fan, and loved watching the New England Patriots. She said the biggest highlight in her life, was when she drove the car in the motorcade carrying Bill Clinton when he visited Great Falls, MT. Frances was known for her gift of gab, she most definitely was a chatty Fran. Anyone who knew Fran knows she was very opinionated, and outspoken, which is a good trait, but also severed some relationships over the years. All around she was a good person, with a generous heart, had many good friends, and would help out anyone she loved. She loved her children, and grandchildren, and was very proud of each of them. All she ever wanted in this life was the love of her children. She had suffered many health issues from a young age and throughout her life that most people would never survive. After her husband, John Broiher passed away in 2014 her heart was broken, as she missed him immensely every day. Earlier in the day of her passing she asked her daughters about heaven, and if other people would see her there? We said yes, and that God will greet her, wrap his arms around her, and she will have no more pain, and she will have a healthy body. We take comfort, and find peace in knowing she was ready to see the face of God. Rest In Peace sweet momma, we love you. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Broiher and a brother, Tony Alvarado. She leaves behind her daughters, Veda (Karl) Moorehead and Vicky (Greg) Cooper; sons, Walter (Nettie) Woods and Victor Alvarado; survived by 9 grandchildren; a sister, Christina (Harold) Veveiros of El Paso, Texas; a brother, Benji Alvarado of Alexandria; Virginia, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews that she held close to her heart. Per her wishes she will be laid to rest next to her husband, at a later date this summer.
