Florence Westphal

Florence Arbeene Westphal passed away April 3, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.No services are being held, per her request. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Peace Hospice of Montana, 1501 26th St. S, Great Falls, MT 59405.Survived by her loving husband Robert Thunstrom of Great Falls; daughters Stacey Lippert (Tom) of Hudson, NH, Michele Coomer (Ian) of Lacey, WA, Nicole Watson (Michael) of Radcliff, KY, and one son Christopher (Heather) Westphal of Great Falls; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Johnson and the late Misty Thunstrom of Great Falls; grandchildren Daemon, Ryan and Jonlyn (Children of Stacey Lippert), Tristen and Zachary (Children of Michele Coomer), Mikey and Alexis (Children of Nicole Watson), Hayden and Chantell (Children of Christopher Westphal), Maddysun and Savannah (Children of Jennifer Johnson); her mother, Wilsie Arbeene of Medford, MA; four brothers and her younger sister Janet (Daniel) Ecclessiastre, with whom she had a very special bond; and her dearest friend, Linda Higginbotham of Great Falls.Florence loved to go camping and fishing. Her hobbies included cooking and baking for the family, crafting, crochet, needlepoint, collecting carousel horses and vegetable gardening. Some of her favorite things were the Boston Celtics, Dunkin Donuts, and the New England Patriots.Florence will always be remembered for her sense of humor, and the love she had for her family.
