Fiona Lea Duffy

Fiona Lea (Harwood) Duffy, 75, of Great Falls, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018. A memorial service will be Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Fiona was born on June 14, 1943 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Louis and Clarinda (Brudy) Harwood. She graduated from high school and married Donald Duffy on October 6, 1966 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was a housewife, mother and dog breeder. She was also a volunteer for animal rescue. She loved animals, crafting, and traveling with her family. Fiona is survived by her daughters, Robin (Rick) and Shawn (Andrew); brothers Robert Hein and Larry Harwood; sister Shirley McKenna, grandchildren Michael Garcia, Matthew Tanksley, Kristen Garcia, Coleman Turley, Cody Duffy, and Kelsey Duffy; 11 great-grandchildren; and her best friend and aunt, Arletta McAllister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents Clarinda and Louis; and sister Arlene.
