Evelyn Norma Tetzel lost her battle with multiple myeloma on November 11, 2020. She was born on October 7, 1944, in Great Falls, the youngest child of Norma (Dunden) and George Tetzel. She was raised on the family farm in Fairfield, graduating from Fairfield High School in 1963. After a short time in California, Evelyn attended Dahl’s School of Beauty and graduated in 1970. She worked at Ron’s Beauty Shop in Choteau until moving to Great Falls in 1984. She was a librarian at the Great Falls Public Library until retirement. Evelyn is survived by her sister, Georgia Beaulieu; sister-in-law, Janette Tetzel, both of Great Falls; niece and nephew, Ronda Wiggers and Ronald Tetzel; great-nieces and nephews, Crystal (Brandon) Hartz, Cameron Carpenter, Aaron Carpenter, and Sarah Tetzel. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Walter and LeRoy Tetzel. The family would like to acknowledge and thank Highgate Senior Living for the wonderful care they provided. A graveside service will be held in December at Saint Paul Cemetery in Fairfield.
