Evelyn Henselin

Evelyn A. (Schulze) Henselin, 83, of Great Falls, a homemaker died of pneumonia, Thursday, January 19, 2012 at a local care facility.Visitation will be held at Schnider Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 12 noon until 7:00 pm. and one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at Peace Lutheran Church on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Evelyn was born August 11, 1928 to Otto and Agnes (Hanssen) Schulze in Westcliffe, Colorado. She was raised in Westcliffe and graduated from high school in Canon City, CO. She later married Donald T. Henselin in Canon City.Evelyn was active in the Peace Lutheran Quilters and volunteered as an election judge. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts and playing cards.Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Susan (James) Knoll of Tucson, AZ and a son Donald L. Henselin of Great Falls.She was preceded in death by her husband Donald T. Henselin.Memorials are suggested to Peace Lutheran Church, 3340 11th Ave. S., Great Falls, MT 59405.
