Evelyn Cote

Evelyn (Schrock) Cote, 90, passed from our world March 9, 2016.Evelyn was born August 19, 1925 in Terry, Montana to Opal (Norris) and Earl Schrock. In 1937, the family moved to Fairfield, where she attended school. In 1944, she went to work for Boeing Air Craft in Seattle.Evelyn married Leonard Cote in November 1949. They lived in Great Falls for 60 years until Leonard passed away in 2007. Evelyn lived in their Westside home until death.She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 1087 and secretary treasurer of Missouri River Manor Auxiliary.She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; son Eugene Pete Cote; great granddaughter Abigail Wilson; son-in-law Donald Wilson; and brother Robert Schrock.She is survived by her daughter, Leanne Wilson of Fairfield; grandchildren Zane (Skylar) Wilson of Ulm, Luke (Lainy) Cote of Great Falls, and Dawn (Corey) Hunter of Seattle, WA; six great-grandchildren; sister Ida May (Joe) Stanley; brothers Eugene (Delores) Schrock and Earl Schrock Jr.; sister-in-law Joyce Schrock; and a special niece, Nancy (Dan) Sayer.The family will have a private memorial gathering at a later date.
