Ethel Marie Azure

Ethel Marie Azure, 88, of Great Falls passed away on January 10, 2020. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, starting at 4:00 p.m. with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Ethel was born June 22, 1931, to Dan and Helen Sangrey. She attended Flandreau Indian School. Ethel married the love of her life, Richard Azure, on August 22, 1960. She loved going to bingo, listening to music and spending time with her beloved children and family. She is survived by her husband, Richard Azure; sons, Ron Azure, Dave (Cindy) Azure, Richard (Sue) Azure, Darrell Azure, Duane Azure; daughters, Helen Lamere, Jewell (Kal) Laverdure; 25 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Bobby Lee Azure; brothers, Irvin Sangrey and Carl Sangrey; sisters, Snovy Jarvey and Irene Morsette; and parents, Dan and Helen Sangrey. Ethel had a big heart and welcomed all to her home. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
