Ernest Thurman Styren

Ernest Thurman Styren of Cascade, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the age of 86. Dad was 1 of 8 children born to Clarence and Bertha (Armstrong) Styren in Conrad, Montana on April 27, 1931. He grew up on a small farm outside of Fairfield where he met his wife Betty Jean Wadsworth. They were married in Conrad and were together for 63 years. He loved life, was an extremely hard worker, and a man of few words. His trade was carpentry and farming. Dad and mom bought a farm south of Cascade in the 60’s and have farmed there for their whole lives. The cows were his babies and the farm was his life. At the request of our father, no services will be held. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Ernest is survived by his wife; 6 children; and 2 sisters. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Benefis 4th floor, especially Gail Hager and hospice home care staff.
