Ernest Lamere

Ernest Ernie Gene LaMere Jr, 22, a Native American enrolled in the Chippewa Cree/Rocky Boy Tribe, passed away July 2, 2013 by accidental drowning while trying to save his girlfriend and her sister. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Ernie was born in Great Falls, Montana on November 20,1990 and lived most of his life in Great Falls.He is survived by his mom, Patricia Larson-LaMere; sisters Tonia Lawrence (Josh Burshia) of Wolf Point, Jessica Larson (Muc McDowell) and Carlena LaMere (Dustin Steele) both of Great Falls; his girlfriend, Shayla Jenkins; 3 nephews; 5 nieces; Grandma Shirley; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and special friends, Scott & Lynn Hall. Ernie had no children but he dearly loved his dog Scrappy.He is preceded in death by his dad, Ernest Gene LaMere Sr, and his grandparents.Ernie loved spending time with family, friends and his girlfriend, he especially loved spending time with all of his nieces and nephews, he was a very proud uncle. He loved music and making his own RAP songs, skate boarding, swimming, lifting weights, he spent many hours building bikes which you could always find Ernie riding all over town.His most favorite job was a construction job.
