Elsie Batello

Elsie Batello, a long-time resident of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday the 12th of July at her home.Visitation will be Monday, July 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Schnider Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.Elsie was born in 1961 in Great Falls to Pete and Derna (Malisani) Batello. She attended Dahl's College of Beauty and was a stylist for more than 30 years with multiple salons around the Great Falls area.Elsie loved cooking Italian food, creating stained glass art, and enjoyed camping with friends.She is survived by her brother, Renato (Rebecca); nieces Rachele Bechard (Hank) and Christina Haagenson (D.J.); nephew Nicholas Batello, and several grandnephews and niece, all of whom live in Montana, and brought great joy to her later years.Memorial gifts may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children at www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org.
