Elizabeth "Betty" Helman

Elizabeth Jean Helman, 72, of Great Falls, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 from natural causes. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place in the Manchester Cemetery following the service. A luncheon will be provided at Solid Rock Bible Church following the service and burial. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Elizabeth Betty was born June 30, 1943 in Great Falls, Montana, where she was also raised. In 1958, Elizabeth married Donald Hendrickson and lived in various places in Montana, Oregon and California. To this union, four children were born. They divorced in 1978. In 1980, Elizabeth married George M. Helman, and they lived in Belt, Montana. They were married until 1989.Elizabeth worked as a clerk in the real estate department of the Cascade County Treasurers office from approximately 1981 to 1992 at which time she retired.She enjoyed crocheting, crosswords, and spending time with family.Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Lora (Jim) Helman; sons Frank Hendrickson, Curt Hendrickson, and Mitch (Patty) Helman; sisters Vivian Deardorff and Kathleen (Dave) Scelsi; brothers, Earl (Kathy) Vian, Jim Vian, and Fred (Peggy) Vian; grandchildren Stacy Helman, Kristen (Brian) Rantz, Tony (Jen) Helman and Josh Liapis; and six great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Vian and Bertha Vian, and her brother, Don Vian.
